Civics - the practices and knowledge of good citizenship – creates space for thinking of individuals in relation to the whole community. Civics clarifies our essential responsibilities to one another.
Within a civics framework we aim for successful elections according to two basic criteria: high voter engagement and participation; and broad acceptance that the entire election process is fair and proper.
New Jersey is one of two states with a major election in November 2025. The links below aim to prompt reflection upon our country’s founding purposes, ideals, and election processes as we prepare to choose who represents us in our representative democracy.
