Nov. 1, 2024: Watertown, MA – Local volunteers, students, and city leaders planted a “densely packed stand of tree and shrub species” on the lawn of Lowell Elementary School. Inspired by Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki, the forest will boost biodiversity and serve as an outdoor learning space.
