VIDEO: Adopt-a-Lot Program Transforms Vacant Lots to Gardens in Newark

Newark residents are taking advantage of a municipal urban gardening program. They can develop vacant lots for purposes of beautification, gardening, and recreation. Gardening materials and training are provided by the Greater Newark Conservancy. Newark residents interested in "adopting a lot" should contact the City of Newark at 973-733-3631.
