A public forum entitled "Civics, Humanities and News Media in NJ" explores News in relation to citizenship, democracy, and the human story. (September 27, 2012, Princeton, NJ)

Nine distinguished panelists discuss changes in 'news' since 2005, approaches to the "complex, evolving saga" of the Meadowlands (home to the 2014 Super Bowl), and what to include in a late-evening TV or radio newscast highlighting New Jersey's civic culture.

Panelists included Daniel Day (Princeton U), Doug Doyle (WBGO), Debbie Galant (NJ News Commons), Dr. Sharon Ann Holt (NJ Council for the Humanities), Dr. Stanley Katz (Woodrow Wilson School), Bob Males (NJTV), Chris Satullo (WHYY), Michael Shapiro (TheAlternativePress.com), and Nancy Solomon (NJ Public Radio/WNYC). NJ Arts News Creative Director Susan Haig moderated the forum.
