Shaping Newark’s CJ/EJ Public Memory Project
Join community leaders, stakeholders, and students from Newark and around New Jersey to identify ways New Jerseyans are addressing climate and environmental justice issues. Envision how to use the project’s Fall 2019 international launch and three-month programming to strategically connect local cultural and political activities, from the fight to clean up the New Jersey/New York seaport to the Water/Ways exhibition, which will travel to six different cultural and historic sites around New Jersey. This session is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Humanities Council.
