2021 "Love The Planet" Campaign

Today we launch "LoveThePlanet," a week-long campaign to raise global warming awareness. Join us in a series of activities that promote CivicStory's mission to increase understanding and engagement around this environmental crisis and underscore the need for harmony between human beings and nature.

We invite you to interact with us on social media for #LoveThePlanet messages from our team and community members, demonstrating our harmony with the environment. We'll discuss how to reduce carbon emissions that increase Earth's temperature and advocate for climate justice in communities most harmed by water and air pollution. You can also watch a video from a recent CivicStory forum that asked participants to "in 3 minutes, explain why the world is warming and how we can stop it." And we'll hear takeaways from event hosts and CivicStory youth advisors Kimberly Tran and Frida Ruiz, who designed this challenge in collaboration with founder Susan Haig.
